New advanced-composite sandwich panels for aircraft interiors

Following five years of development in association with the Technical University of Delft in Holland,FITS Technology launched an advanced sandwich panel at the JEC Composites Show in Paris.Foamed In situ Thermoformable Sandwich,or FITS,exhibits significant advantages over existing panel materials for aircraft interiors.The product combines the stiffness and strength of Nomex honeycomb sandwiches with the damage tolerances of foam.
