Adhesives improve film label processing

Herma says innovative adhesives based on multi-layer technology are contributing to significant growth in the films segment of its adhesive materials division. "The multi-layer concept allows us to overcome challenges that have generally arisen in the past when processing films," explains Herma managing director Dr Thomas Baumgartner. "We have thus been able to lower substantially the risk of adhesive bleeding. Likewise, the level of contamination of the cutting dies is significantly reduced in the case of films with a multi-layer adhesive."
