Alternative control options on the way for autumn and spring weeds

Two new herbicides based on Dow AgroSciences' new graminicide active pyrox- sulam could offer growers alternative grassweed killers to Atlantis and Axial in autumn and spring, if approved by the Pesticides Safety Directorate. GF 2070, which is a mixture of pyroxsulam and an unnamed residual partner, is aimed at the autumn applied blackgrass market currently dominated by Atlantis (mesosul-furon-methyl + iodosulfuron-me-thyl-sodium).
