CCL Industries (CCL) has announced the acquisition of Mabel's Labels and Mabel's Labels Retail for Avery North America. The companies have common shareholders and are based in Ontario, Canada. Mabel's Labels is a well-known brand for durable, personalised identification labels for children and families. Fiscal year-end sales (31 March 2016) are forecast to be $9.5 million with an adjusted EBITDA of approximately $2.8 million for the combined entities. The debt-free cash purchase consideration, subject to customary closing conditions, is approximately $12 million. The new business will continue to trade as Mabel's Label's and report within CCL's Avery Segment.
