ETI Converting Equipment, based in Quebec, Canada, has just received a patent for its apparatus and method used to cut facestock. The equipment die cuts extremely thin release liners of 12-18 μm. Since Pellicut's launch, this high-speed rotary die-cutting unit has been welcomed by self-adhesive label printers that understand the advantages of combatting die-cutting marks on paper and film liners, reducing material costs and liner waste, lowering shipping cost and minimising rewinding time.
