High precision engraving for HD plates

Cheshire Anilox Technology's new Proflo engraving process is specifically for ultrafine flexo screen specifications. It features an improved cell profile for a more consistent ink laydown while eliminating the chance of uncontrolled dot gain. The "high-release cell" is said to offer 25% additional ink compared with conventional engravings, enabling an anilox manufacturer to produce finer rolls and eliminate dot dipping. The special cell profile also allows printers to work with the expanded tone range of offset and rotogravure printing techniques.
