Recent developments in UVflexo inks include lower viscosity,higher strength and lower odour inks.As flexo becomes more competitive with presses such as offset,there is a trend towards the use of finer aniloxes with oower volumes to provide sharper print with greater definition,says RK Print Coat Instruments.Consequently,these printers need the newer generation inks that provide the strength necessary to produce better trapping and sharper printing,at higher speeds.
