Adopting a 5S culture

In my last column I wrote about the need to understand how efficient your factory is and where your losses are through an analysis of your OEE. To start the improvement journey towards World Class status, the most important change that any company can make is to adopt a 5S Culture. These words have been written many times but what do they mean? In essence it is purely common sense.
