Flexo press delivers outstsanding print quality with less waste

RAKO Witzhave has invested in a Gallus ECS 340 press equipped with 10 flexographic printing stations, one screen printing and one cold foil unit for finishing. The press has been used mainly to produce adhesive labels. "Efficient production operations are one of the key prerequisites for cost-effective and competitive adhesive label manufacturing," explains production manager Holger Schoer. "At just 1.1 metres between printing units the extremely short web path of the Gallus ECS 340 has enabled us to reduce our waste dramatically. Minimal setup times and the robust press design ensure excellent reliability and maximum performance."
