AS in any given year, 2005 had its share of moments everyone in the industry was talking about. For the most part, these were enjoyable, positive developments such as the general uptick in the ag economy and adoption of more advanced technologies to make custom application more efficient and profitable. There also were moments that hurt, literally and figuratively, such as the steady increase in fuel prices and a series of devastating natural disasters disrupting the industry's regular flow of business.
