RECENT MONTHS HAVE BEEN FRUITFUL for our Biodynamic Education Program, with exciting developments in our existing projects, as well as new activities. Our North American Biodynamic Apprenticeship Program (NABDAP) has grown into a thriving training program, with thirty-seven apprentices currently participating. In November we hosted our first-ever NABDAP apprentice gathering before our national conference, bringing together twenty-six young people to meet one another, engage in lively discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing young biodynamic farmers, and hear from renowned biodynamic gardener, beekeeper, and educator Gunther Hauk. The same day we awarded certificates to four new graduates of the program, each of whom are pursuing their own farming projects and already educating others about biodynamics.
