In W-CDMA, to reduce the complexity of mobile unit, a base station transmit diversity system that can construct receiver Systems of mobile unit into a single has being standardized. In this paper, we propose the base station transmit diversity method that switches the antennas polarization adaptively according to inclination of the mobile station, and clarify the reception characteristics of proposed method.
