LOVE FOR THE EARTH

摘要

In June 1924 Rudolf Steiner gave the Agricultural Course in Koberwitz, Silesia to a group of anthroposophical friends and members. Eighty-five turbulent years have passed since this important event took place, meant to revolutionize world-wide agriculture. I myself have participated in this effort for the last sixty years. In looking back at all those years and evaluating the success of the outcome, it seems a meagre progress. In my years of participation, I tried to set an example as a biodynamic practitioner, showed young people the horticultural trade, wrote papers on how to grow a variety of crops, tried to outline how spiritual forces work in nature, and explained how to make good compost In addition, I was active as the editor of the magazineBiodynamics, was entrusted with publishing books of biodynamic literature, became executive director of the Biodynamic Association, and lectured as such to groups from coast to coast.
