Recession hits Gidue

Italian label and packaging press manufacturer Gidue has announced that it has filed for "voluntary winding-up".Although 2008 was a record sales year(?34mn),the global recession has "hit the company far beyond any possible expectation,causing an unexpected strong downturn in sales,which are no longer sufficient to cover the fixed costs".
