This handbook is specifically for biodynamic operations, and envisions an ideal training of up to four years to thoroughly learn the subject. But a number of the ideas it contains are also useful for other types of sustainable farms. The handbook starts off with a survey of the training options, including college-style courses and apprenticeships. After a quick discussion of the options, the reader is referred to a twenty-three page appendix which gives dozens of detailed descriptions of programs ofboth types, with contact information.
