Ed Vitco and John Lowry have a lot in common.Both are farmers and seed dealers.Both live and work in Illinois,though in different parts of the state.Both have seen the popularity of the Roundup Ready~R Corn 2 System skyrocket in their respective areas.Vitco farms and sells seed near Coal City,Illinois,about 90 minutes southwest of Chicago,serving farmers in a 20-mile radius encompassing Will and Grundy counties and a sliver of Kendall County.Lowry is based in Humboldt,Illinois,in Coles County,about 40 minutes south of Champaign.What both seed dealers are seeing is an explosion of growth in Roundup Ready Corn 2 acres among their customer bases.
