Flowforms ln The Greenhouse -A Preliminary Report

In late 1995 I purchased a small flow-forms cascade from Waterforms, Inc. in Blue Hill Maine (2). It consists of thtee cast concrete vessels weighing 60 pounds each; the "Bristlecone" cascade was designed by water scientist and sculptor Jennifer Greene to be affordable for low budget applications. I intended to use it as an attractive point of interest in the Biodynamic herb circle which forms the centerpiece of the B Bar Guest Ranch garden,(3). Since it was late in the year, I installed the flowforms in our greenhouse to study and fine tune their operation in a protected setting during the long winter. The setup (see Figure 1) was as follows.
