摘要

Schiff base ligand(L) and its two copper complexes of type [Cu(L)(Phen)Cl-2] complex 1 and [Cu(L)(bpy) Cl-2] complex 2, [where, L = IMDAAP is Schiff base of Imidazole 2-alehyde and 4-amino antipyrine, Phen = 1,10 phenonthroline and bpy = 2,2' bipyridine] are synthesized by microwave methods. The ligand and complexes are characterized by analytical and spectral studies. Based on this data, octahedral geometry was given to the complexes. DNA binding studies of copper complexes with CT-DNA was performed by Uv-Vis, fluorescence spectral and viscosity methods, which is further validated by docking studies. Antioxidative properties of the metal complexes are determined by electronic absorption method and have shown good antioxidant activity against DPPH radical. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V.
