Sheath blight disease of rice (Oryza sativa L.) - an overview.

This paper reviews the literature on various aspects of sheath blight disease of rice caused by Rhizoctonia solani. Information is given on its etiology, distribution and spread, pathogenicity, and control (including host resistance, cultural, chemical and biological).
