Chemical Investigation of Annona squamosa (Stem bark)

4,9-Dihydroxy -3,8-dimethoxy- benzo [4,5] furo [3,2-C] chromen -6- one, 6,7'-dihydroxy -3-methoxydihydroflavonol, 5,7- dihydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 7-hydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 7,3'-dihydroxy -4'-methoxy isoflavone, 4', 5,7-trihydroxy isoflavone, 2'- hydoxy genistein have been isolated for the first time from the stem bark of Annona squamosa and identified by spectroscopic data.
