Current Opinion in Rheumatology was launched in 1989. It isone of a successful series of review journals whose uniqueformat is designed to provide a systematic and criticalassessment of the literature as presented in the manyprimary journals. The field of Rheumatology is dividedinto 15 sections that are reviewed once a year. Eachsection is assigned a Section Editor, a leading authorityin the area, who identifies the most important topics atthat time.
