Ferrous scrap market is quiet in Turkey at the beginning of the week. Steelmakers are trying to evaluate their salesperspectives before starting negotiations with scrap suppliers. At the end of last week, one Turkish mill accepted aprice increase from a European scrap supplier. Now offers for American scrap are above $275/t CFR.
