Iran increased iron ore concentrate production in Q1 of the current Persian year (March 21 – June 21, 2018) mainlyowing to strong demand in the local market. Certain limitations on export sales, such as duties and US sanctions, arethe main obstacles for miners now. However, market participants consider that output will continue to increase in thefuture.
