Iran’s port incentives to hardly support steel trade

Aiming to ease pressure on Iranian enterprises on the severe rial devaluation, the local authorities decided to fix theexchange rate for port and maritime services. Although the measure can somewhat help Iranian steel exporters andimporters, its positive effect will be limited and insufficient to overcome the current challenges.
