Turkish structurals sellers try to cope with insufficient demand

Demand for Turkish structurals being steadily moderate in thedomestic market and low in the export one, local suppliers are forcedto set prices carefully, not to scare away few buyers they have. As aresult, sellers have pushed up only domestic prices, citing weakernational currency; still, not everyone has managed to compensatefor exchange rate fluctuations. At the same time there are no reasonsfor the upturn in export quotations. Market players are quitepessimistic about next week, since demand is not expected toimprove substantially making further increase impossible.
