SSAB (Sweden) releases half-year report 2012

According to the report, SSAB production fell in the first half of 2012. The output of crude steel totalled 2.93 mt in January-June, down 7% year-on-year; production of steel products dropped by 8% to 2.46 mt. The company shipped 2.28 mt of finished products (-9%), while sales of niche products dipped 5% to 873,000 t.
