Samarco removes last obstacle to restart operations in late 2020

Brazil’s iron mining company Samarco Mineracao S. A. (Samarco), which had stopped its 30 million tpy iron ore operations as a result of dam collapse in November 2015, received the last license allowing it to return to operations. It expects the restart in late 2020.
