CRC demand strong in UAE

UAE’s CRC market is active now amid buyers’ restocking. The deals are expected to be closed soon as some buyersare in the middle of negotiations.China’s SPCC-SD grade material is currently available in the UAE at $590?600/t CFR from traders for March shipment,while two weeks ago a small volume of CRC was sold by a mill at $560/t CFR, Metal Expert learnt. Despite a significantincrease, the price level is considered to be workable among UAE customers. “Most Chinese suppliers left themarket for the holidays. Most offers are coming from traders, who are trying to benefit from the absence of the mills,”a drum manufacturer told Metal Expert.
