Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Steel raises domestic scrap, rebar prices

Feng Hsin Steel, major long steel producer in Taiwan, raised domestic scrap purchase price following a surge of theglobal ones. Rebar and profiles prices went up as well.Feng Hsin Steel lifted its scrap prices for the domestic market purchases by TWD 600/t ($19.5/t), reachingTWD 9,000?9,200/t ($292?298/t) this week. The prices hike was attributed to the uptrend in the global market.
