NSSMC’s proft down 45% in steel segment on high production costs

Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) posted lower proft in April-June due to higher production costs along with lower output and sales volumes. Moreover, the producer forecasts a 56% drop in ordinary proft in FY2019 ending in March 2020.
