Prices for CIS longs keep decreasing amid strong competition with Turkish sellers on most of consuming destinations, being also driven down by the decline in the semis and raw material segments. discounts from the CIS still have no positive effect on the MENA buyer activity as Turkish companies are ready to make more attractive offers. demand has slightly picked up in Europe after the vacation season, but buyers are also pushing for discounts there. Certain sellers have therefore limited the allocation for foreign markets, focusing on local customers, particularly in Russia, who are ready to trade at levels that the merchants can accept.
