摘要

The development of new materials has promoted the industrial progress. The rapid-solidified Mg-Zn based alloys provided new methods to the problem of landfill leachate treatment. The reaction behaviors of rapid-solidified Mg_(27.1)Zn_(72.9), Mg_(40)Zn_(60), Mg_(50)Zn_(50) and Mg_(60)Zn_(40) ribbons in landfill leachate and in 1% glacial acetic acid are examined and analyzed. Due to the non-equilibrium structure and big specific surface-area, the ribbons react with the landfill leachate in a few minutes and the byproduct is clean fuel hydrogen. The time-H_2 volume curves in 1% glacial acetic acid are analyzed to make a quantitative comparison.
