摘要

Series of WMo solid solution nanopowders with a wide composition range were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel method combined with the hydrogen reduction. The phase constitution, powder morphology and electronic transfer or interaction of the synthesized WMo solid solution alloys were characterized by SEM, XRD, TEM, EDS, XPS and first-principle CASTEP calculation. The experimental results confirmed that Wand Mo were evenly distributed in the solid solution nanopowders. Also, with the increasing Mo content, both experimental and theoretical results verified that the formation of solid solution led to a decrease of lattice parameter and an electronic transfer from Mo to W.
