Argentine biodiesel heading back to the EU

Following a ruling from the World Trade Organization (WTO) that the high tariff (22.0-25.7%) placed on Argentine biodiesel imports to the EU was protectionist, the WTO ordered the tariff to be lowered to 4.5-8.1%. The lowering of the tariff has resulted in Argentine biodiesel returning to Europe. According to Claudio Molina, executive director of the Argentina Association of Biofuels and Hydrogen, "We have begun exporting biodiesel to Europe very gradually."
