摘要

Iraq's oil ministry has announced plans to reopen a crude export pipeline that runs from its oil fields in Kirkuk to the port at Ceyhan in Turkey. The pipe was shut down in 2014 when Islamic State forces occupied the region. Since then, it has operated only intermittently as Baghdad's troops-backed by the US-have regained control, but otherwise only a portion operated by the Kurdistan Regional Government has kept running. The KRG operates a pipeline that injects crude into Kirkuk-Ceyhan at the border with Turkey.
