FueLNG to offer ship-to-ship bunkering of LNG in Singapore

The j.v. between Shell Eastern Petroleum and Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd. has ordered a liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering vessel to be built by Keppel Singmarine. FueLNG will be the first company to offer the service in the port of Singapore. The vessel itself will be able to run on either LNG or marine diesel, and it will not need tug assistance for bunkering. The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore awarded Pavilion Gas and FueLNG a co-funding grant for building two LNG bunker vessels.
