More Canadian crude moves through Oregon to China.

US Customs data showed that a nearly-244K-bbl cargo exited the Willamette River near Portland in the northwest US state of Oregon in Jan. Trader Sinoenergy received the shipment in early Feb. at Shandong province's Rizhao port. Almost 264K bbl of Access Western Blend Canadian heavy crude had been transported by rail to Oregon before making the same journey. S&P Global Platts Analytics reported the vessel carrying the second cargo left OR in March and reached Shandong in early April. Sinoenergy imported the crude for use by Jinshi Asphalt. A third laden vessel set sail from Portland on April 26 and is expected to reach Rizhao on May 14.
