The heads of some US energy industry groups have warned President Donald Trump against unilaterally pulling out of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) president Chet Thompson said "A more robust energy chapter would benefit all three countries." Mr. Thompson cites US firms investing in the Mexican retail and upstream sectors following the liberalization of the Mexican energy sector as an element of NAFTA both countries can benefit from.
