The Russian energy firm said its net income in 4Q was 100.00B roubles ($1.74B), double its 4Q 2016 profit. Rosneft said its strong 4Q performance was the result of the company winning a 100.00B roubles ($1.74B) from Sistema stemming from a dispute over crude producer Bashneft. Rosneft said this award added 48B roubles ($835MM) to its 4Q profit. Rosneft's 4Q earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) was up just below 8% to 393.00B roubles ($6.84B). Revenue was up 14% on-year to 1.70 trillion roubles ($29.58B).
