On March 28, Saudi Aramco announced it had entered into commercial partnerships with 14 US firms, valuing the partnerships at over $10B. In terms of oil and gas partnerships, eight of these deals were with oil and gas firms: ARO Drilling for offshore drilling services; Baker Hughes GE for downhole equipment and services; Halliburton for downhole equipment and services including well and rig services; Honeywell International Inc. for main automation contractor services for a new process control system (or upgrade of existing ones); Schlumberger Ltd. for downhole equipment and services and wellhead and surface control equipment; Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling for onshore drilling; Texas Iron Works for downhole equipment services; and Weatherford International for downhole equipment and a well testing services contract.
