Upstream spending in Canada this year will total $37.IB. Spending for conventional oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production will increase by 5% to $26.1B. Spending in the Albertan oilsands will fall to approximately $11.0B. The Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) estimates 7.90K wells will be drilled in the country this year, up from 7.55K last year.
