Despite prices remaining persistently higher than at neighboring ports, demand for low-sulfur marine gasoil (LSMGO) in Shanghai remains strong, according to market sources speaking on Nov. 29. LSMGO prices in Shanghai were assessed at $721/mt delivered on Nov. 28, higher than $645/mt in South Korea and $625/mt in Japan. The price in Shanghai has consistently remained above $700/mt in Nov. while, at neighboring ports, it has mostly been in the $600-700/mt range.
