China may continue to buy from Iran China has,once again,expressed its opposition to the US's unilateral sanctions against Iran.Some market watchers believe China and Turkey will ignore the US sanctions,now that the waivers are being withdrawn.A US official told reporters that US President Donald Trump does not believe that allowing the waivers to expire will impact relations with Turkey or China.Rumors began circulating on April 26 that China might be granted an exemption to allow continued purchases from Iran,but two officials from the Trump administration said they had no knowledge of a short-term waiver or wind-down period being considered for China's purchases.
