Saudi Arabia’s new Oil Minister promises commitment to OPEC+ agreement

Saudi Arabia recendy replaced its Oil Minister Khalid al-Falih,who also was the Chairman of state-owned oil major Saudi Aramco,with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman,who served as the counuy’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs and has been a member of the Saudi delegation to OPEC since the 1980s.Prince Abdulaziz,who played an important role in developing the new OPEC+ agreement,maintains that the country will maintain the course and abide by the agreement to keep domestic production below 10MM b/d.
