Spot crude prices decreased in most parts of the world in mid-Oct

The front-month Brent/Dubai Exchange of Futures for Swaps(EFS) moved 8￠/bbl higher over the week to reach positive-38￠/bbl on Oct.16.From Oct.9 to Oct.15,the price for OPEC's basket of crudes decreased by 32￠/bbl to hit $41.29/bbl.[Note:As of the time of writing,OPEC had not posted its basket price for Oct.16.] The cash price for Dubai crude edged down by 17￠/bbl over the week to end at $41.90/bbl while Murban fell by 46￠/bbl to hit $42.22/bbl on Friday,according to data from Reuters.
