Quanzhou refinery expands crude processing and PC capacity

Sinochem Group is set to bring online a new PC plant and a 60K-b/d crude processing unit later this year of its Quanzhou refinery in the Chinese southeast coastal province of Fujian,which has a 240K-b/d capacity currently.Sinochem's 32.50B yuan(f 4.64B)investment will help the company obtain a multi-billion-dollar stock listing for its energy sector.The company also believes that the new PC capacity will provide added value and will being an 800K-mt/y paraxylene unit in 4Q.Scottish Wood Group was the service contractor for the construction of the new facilities.
