AVEVA to assist Shell in its digital transformation

UK information technology firm AVEVA has signed an agreement to help accelerate Shell Global Solutions International B.V.'s digital transformational strategy.Under the terms of this agreement,AVEVA will provide Shell its cloud-based solutions including its Engineering Data Warehouse technology,one of the building blocks of AVEVA's digital twin.Engineering Data Warehouse combines engineering information across the lifecycle of the asset to build the digital twin.The resulting digital twin will help Shell boost asset reliability,enhance efficiency,improve health and safety,and reduce unplanned downtime.
