HSFO and bunker spot prices fall at Fujairah while other products improve.

Data from S&P Global Platts indicated the price for unleaded, 95-octane gasoline edged higher by 79￠/bbl over the week ending June 16 to hit a 15-week high of $47.45/bbl FOB Fujairah. The ongoing easing of lockdown measures in numerous East-of-Suez countries offered continued support to the regional gasoline market even though some have characterized the demand recovery as fragile. Kerosene increased by $1.02/bbl over the week to reach $40.28/bbl FOB Fujairah while 10-ppm-sulfur gasoil gained $1.69/bbl to hit $45.48/bbl FOB Fujairah. The latter two products were at 14-week highs. Traders said availability of ULSD cargoes was tight in the East, so barrels were being pulled from the Middle East and India. On June 16, Brent-Forties-Oseberg (BFO) on an FOB-Europe basis was assessed at $40.75/bbl, placing the crack for gasoline at $6.70/bbl, up from the previous week's $6.21/bbl. Kerosene's crack to the crude inched up from negative-$1.19/bbl on June 9 to negative-47￠/bbl on June 16, while gasoil's crack expanded from $3.34/bbl to $4.73/bbl over the same timeframe.
