European Commission unveils plan targeting plastic packaging

The Circular Economy Action Plan will be part of the European Green Deal and will aim to develop frameworks and pass legislation to increase both the durability and recyclability of plastic packages while restricting single-use plastics.The overall goals of the plan are to reduce packaging waste and overpackaging,increase use of recyclable packaging,and to increase packaging complexity.
