NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas has promoted Scott Damon to president, commercial group, U.S. and Canada for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO), effective Oct. 1. Mr. Damon, president of Firestone Industrial Products for the past three years, will oversee all business operations within the commercial tire operations. He will succeed Kurt Danielson. who is retiring after 23 years with the company.
